Fillers & Botox injections

Volumizers, often known by their trade names such as Juvederm®, Esthelis®, Teosyal®, Restylane® and others, are used in aesthetic medicine to fill in static expression lines and to compensate for the loss of volume experienced over time. They are composed of hyaluronic acid, a natural sugar derivative already present in the body. With skin aging, exposure to pollutants and UV rays, skin cells lose their ability to produce hyaluronic acid, hardening and deepening facial features. Synthesized hyaluronic acid-based volumizers can then intervene. Injected under the skin, they can absorb more than a thousand times their weight, acting like a real sponge; ideal, therefore, to moisturize and balance the dermal volume.
