Photorejuvenation

A light that harmonizes the appearance of your skin

What is photorejuvenation ?

Correct small imperfections through science

Intense pulsed light platforms make it possible to correct complexion imperfections such as pigmentation spots caused or accentuated by the sun, in addition to reducing certain vascular disorders such as rosacea and couperose, all within the same session.

Skin conditions treated with photorejuvenation.

Because of its more obvious exposure to the sun, it may be beneficial to treat the skin on the face, neck and chest with Intense Pulsed Light. The back and hands are also popular areas for treatment.

Who should avoid photorejuvenation treatment?

Pregnant or breastfeeding women should postpone this type of treatment, as should anyone who has been exposed to the sun in the months before and after each session. The use of tanning booths, self-tanning products and photo-sensitizing medication should be avoided.

Why choose photorejuvenation treatment ?

Pulsed light has the advantage of being able to reach different depths under the epidermis and can therefore be used for different purposes depending on the condition being treated.

It is a filter inserted in the universal applicator of the platform that influences the wavelength with which the light reaches the different layers of skin and delivers its therapeutic effect.

For example, in photorejuvenation, the pulsed light must reach between 515 and 560 nanometers in depth. Sent in by pulses, it searches for color contrasts under the skin in order to dry out and eliminate small blood vessels and visible brown or red spots.

The visible results appear gradually. Although temporary darkening of spots, increased redness and normal peeling may occur as post-treatment reactions, no convalescence is expected. Photorejuvenation is an effective and proven treatment for restoring a youthful, even skin tone.
